Dear Councillor,

You are hereby summoned to attend the meeting of Wigtoft Parish Council, which will be held on Monday 3rd October 2022, commencing at 19:30 in the village hall. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

The meeting will commence with a 10-minute public forum during which time individual members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council (for a maximum of 3 minutes per person). Your attendance is necessary during this period.

  2. Chairman’s remarks.
  3. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
  4. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
  5. Notes of the meeting held on 1.8.22 to be confirmed and signed as minutes.
  6. Financial matters: Accounts for payment for August and September and budget figures.  To receive the checked bank reconciliation from Cllr SS.
  7. Planning: None.
  8. Correspondence.
  9. Councillor’s reports.
  10. Clerk’s report.
  11. To discuss budget planning for 2023/24. To present information about the Scribe accounting system to Council for consideration for the next financial year.
  12. To discuss booking an internal audit with Victoria Clark, Internal Auditor, at a cost of £100 (interim and final audit).
  13. To review the August play area inspection undertaken by Cllr Mills and the September inspection undertaken by Cllr Brigham, to receive the June inspection report from Cllr Baxter and to decide who will do the October quarterly inspection. To confirm the order for the annual play area inspection at a cost of £120 unaccompanied and £165 accompanied.
  14. To discuss the information received about the Civility and Respect Pledge and to decide what actions to take.
  15. To review the state of the footpath outside the chicken farm and decide if any actions are needed.
  16. To discuss planning for the Fish and Chip supper. (SB)
  17. To discuss the Wildlife Garden (Cllr Brigham).
  18. To discuss the “Cost of living – Warm Spaces email received from Boston Borough Council.
  19. To schedule the Clerk’s annual review.
