Public Forum. (The Public Forum does not form part of the meeting of the Parish Council).

  1. Chairman’s remarks and open the meeting.
  2. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
  3. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interest.
  4. Notes of the monthly meeting of the Parish Council held on the 3.11.25 to be confirmed and signed as minutes by the Chairperson.
  5. Financial matters:  To resolve to accept the accounts for payment for November 2025, to be checked and signed by 2 Councillors at this meeting and to review the budget figures for the year to date.  Bank balance £11869.19 as at 25.11.25.. To receive and resolve to accept the checked bank reconciliation from Cllr Brigham for the period 1.7.25 to 30.9.25. To discuss and agree any action regarding AVG Anti Track and VPN add-ons to the existing AVG Internet Protection.
  6. Planning:  EN02 10007, National Grid Electricity Transmission development consent Weston Marsh to East Leics.
  7. Correspondence received since the November meeting.
  8. Reports from Parish Councillors.
  9. Reports from Borough and County Councillors.
  10. Clerk’s report.
  11. To resolve to move into closed session to discuss the clerk’s annual performance review and confirm any actions to be taken.
  12. To give feedback on the above review to the clerk.
  13. To reopen the meeting to the public and to discuss changing the February meeting date from the 2.2.26 to the 19.1.26 to allow time to complete the Precept request (no meeting planned in January at present).
  14. To start the budget planning for 1.4.26 to 31.3.27.  See attached partially completed spread sheet.
  15. To review the Interim Internal Audit feedback and agree any actions to be taken.
  16. To confirm receipt of a copy the confirmation of public liability insurance for employer liability insurance from T N Sneath & Sons, grass maintenance contractors used by the Parish Council. To confirm that sight of similar documents must be obtained from any business undertaking work for the Parish Council in the future.
  17. To review the play area inspection undertaken by Cllr Baxter for November 25 and decide if any actions are needed. Cllr Leggott to undertake the next inspection.
  18. To ratify the agreement to spend £66.65 + vat to replace 2 x 5m lengths of the Christmas Lights purchased in October 2023 which have failed, resolved by a majority by email in line with Financial Regulation 6.8 (v). To feedback on the recent actions in respect of the Christmas Lights (BL).
  19. To review the Councillors Disclosable Pecuniary Interests and Registration of Local Choice Interests form.
