You are hereby summoned to attend the meeting of Wigtoft Parish Council which will be held on Monday 12th of May 2025 in the Village Hall, commencing after the Annual Meeting  of the Parish Council. . The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

  1. Public Forum. (The Public Forum does not form part of the meeting of the Parish Council).
  2. Chairman’s remarks.
  3. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
  4. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interest.
  5. Notes of the meeting held on the 7.4.25  to be confirmed and signed as minutes by the Chairperson.
  6. Financial matters:  To resolve to accept the accounts for payment for April 2025, to be checked and signed by 2 Councillors at this meeting and the budget figures to the year to date.  Bank balance £13040.52as at 6.5.25.
  7. Planning: B/25/0168 – stage two consultation for the proposed Meridian Solar Farm.
  8. Correspondence received since the April meeting.
  9. Reports from Parish Councillors.
  10. Reports from Borough and County Councillors.
  11. Clerk’s report.
  12. To review and confirm acceptance of the Internal Auditors report.
  13. To sign the Certificate of Exemption relating to the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2021/2022.
  14. To complete, confirm and sign Section 1 (the Annual Governance Statement) of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2023/2024.
  15. To confirm and sign Section 2 (the Accounting Statements) of the Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2023/2024.
  16. To review the play area inspection undertaken by the clerk on the 7.4.25 and decide if any actions are needed.
  17. To decide whether to accept the quotes a) to take down the old noticeboard and install the new one,  b) to remove the ivy from the back of the bus shelter and c) to treat the playing field/play area to remove the algae or not.
  18. To discuss the 2 invoices received from T N Sneath & Sons for grass cutting in the village and to decide what action to take.
