Public Forum. (The Public Forum does not form part of the meeting of the Parish Council).

  1. Chairpersons’ remarks and to open the meeting.
  2. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
  3. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interest.
  4. Notes of the monthly meeting of the Parish Council held on the 19.1.26 to be confirmed and signed as minutes by the Chairperson.
  5. Financial matters:  a) To resolve to accept the accounts for payment for January and February 2026, to be checked and signed by 2 Councillors at this meeting. b) To review the budget figures for the year to date.  Bank balance £9397.06 as at 23.2.26. c) To receive the checked bank reconciliation for 1.9.25 to 31.12.25 from Cllr Redhead.
  6. Planning: B/26/0046 - Change of use and erection of an MOT bay at Auto Truck Ltd, Main Road, Wigtoft, Boston PE20 2NX.
  7. Correspondence received since the January meeting.
  8. Reports from Parish Councillors.
  9. Reports from Borough and County Councillors.
  10. Clerk’s report including progress on Internal Audit report actions and the setting up of the new gov.uk email addresses for Councillors.
  11. To confirm the dates for future meetings from June 26 to May 27.
  12. To discuss trees and hedges in general which the Parish Council has responsibility for (requested from previous meeting).
  13. To resolve retrospectively the purchase of 2 new “dog fouling” signs for the Wildlife Garden area at a total cost of £49.99 including vat £8.34 in line with Financial Regulation 6.8 v.
  14. To review and agree to pay the sum of £85.88 for the electricity used from the church to power the Christmas Lights.
  15. To review the annual play area inspection undertaken by Wicksteed on 19.1.26 (sent to Cllrs 9.2.26). Cllr Leggott to complete the monthly play area check during March.
  16. To discuss and decide the next steps needed to install the new “no dog fouling” signs.
  17. To review the Asset Register and arrange for the annual check of the assets.
  18. To review and adopt a new IT Policy for Wigtoft Parish Council.
