Public Forum. (The Public Forum does not form part of the meeting of the Parish Council).

  1. Chairpersons’ remarks and to open the meeting.
  2. Apologies for absence and reasons given.
  3. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interest.
  4. Notes of the monthly meeting of the Parish Council held on the 6.7.26 to be confirmed and signed as minutes by the Chairperson.
  5. Financial matters:  a) To resolve to accept the accounts for payment for July 2026, to be checked against the invoices and signed by 2 Councillors at this meeting. b) To review the budget figures for the year to date at 30.6.26. c) Bank balance £13663.26 as at 29.7.26. d) Letter to the clerk confirming the new mileage rate to be signed by the Chair and Vice Chair and handed to the clerk. e) To hand the bank reconciliation for the period 1.4.26 to 30.6.26 to Cllr Leggott for checking.

  11. To review the playing field/play area inspection for July undertaken by Cllr Redhead. An update on any activities in the Playing field/play area and Wildlife Garden (fence repair, installation of sign in Wildlife Garden. cleaning of both gates and other items in the playing field, application of green mould and algae killer(to be completed when weather condition are met) and repairs and painting of all benches in the village. An update about any further activity in respect of scooters being ridden in the playing field. To arrange the next playing field/play area inspection by the clerk in conjunction with the annual inspection report.
  12. To discuss the recent fire at Red Roofs, Asperton Road in relation to possible business activity at the premises. (IM)
  13. To discuss the reminder from Wicksteed about booking the next annual play area inspection at a cost of £150.
  14. To receive the Declarations of Interest and Local Choice Interest forms completed by Councillors.
  15. To receive the completed GDPR security compliance checklist from Councillors.
  16. To discuss the method of including the minutes of each Parish Council meeting in Wigtoft Newsletter.
