You are hereby summoned to attend the meeting of Wigtoft Parish Council, which will be held on Monday 6th February 2023, commencing at 19:00 in the village hall. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

The meeting will commence with a 10-minute public forum during which time individual members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council (for a maximum of 3 minutes per person). Your attendance is necessary during this period.

  4. To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
  5. Notes of the meeting held on 5.12.22 to be confirmed and signed as minutes.
  6. Financial matters: Accounts for payment and budget figures. To confirm the Bank reconciliation from 1.7.22 to 30.9.22 checked by Cllr BL.
  7. Planning: None.

  11. To review the Standing Orders and make any amendments required.
  12. To decide whether to join the Annual Training Scheme offered by LALC at a cost of £100+vat. To confirm the renewal of the membership of Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils (LALC) at a cost of £157.32 and to confirm the renewal of LALC’s website Maintenance service at a cost of £170+vat.
  13. To review the December and January play area inspection, including the inspection of the footpath in front of the chicken farm, undertaken by Cllrs Baxter and Leggott respectively.  To discuss the quotes received to install a 5-bar gate at the exit of the Wildlife Garden onto the A17. To review the list of actions required following the annual play area inspection sent to Councillors on 29.12.22. To decide who will do the quarterly inspection due this month.
  14. To consider the Planning Training being offered by LALC on 21.2.23 and to decide if Councillors should attend.
  15. To discuss any plans for activities to celebrate the Coronation and information from the meeting with Sutterton Parish Council on the 25.1.23 attended by Cllrs Leggott and Mills.
  16. To confirm the dates for the meetings from June 23 to May 24.
  17. To plan the Annual Parish Meeting.  
  18. To confirm the decision made regarding the 2023 grass cutting contract.
  19. An update on the delivery of the free trees for the Wildlife Garden and the planting of the first delivery.
  20. To consider the request for a donation from Lives.
  21. To discuss the application to fill the Casual Vacancy for a Parish Councillor. (e mails sent to Cllrs 11.1.23)
